hummingbirds enables corporations to fulfill net zero and other integrity-aligned climate goals through the conservation, improved management and restoration of nature.

We support the development of NbS by providing technical and financial support.

We focus exclusively on NbS: a triple win for climate, biodiversity and people.

We develop and finance projects around the world that reduce carbon emissions, protect biodiversity and provide a positive social impact to local communities.

Coastal ecosystems

This project will restore a 300-ha degraded mangrove area and improve lives of vulnerable communities in Kenya.

Improved cookstoves

Empowering African households with efficient, sustainable, and affordable cooking solutions, through the distribution of 300,000 cookstoves by 2030.

Lomphat • Cambodia

The Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary REDD+ project aims to reduce GHG emissions from deforestation by protecting ~130,000 ha of Government forest in Cambodia in partnership with BirdLife International and its local entity NatureLife Cambodia.

The project will restore 10,000 hectares of degraded pasturelands using regenerative silviculture, agroforestry, and ecological restoration to produce native timber and generate high-quality carbon credits.

The Calao project is designed to restore the forest landscape of the N'zi in partnership with the N’zi Wildlife Conservation Foundation (NWCF).

Savanna Fire Management

The Cool Burn Fire Project on Bulimba station in Northern Queensland, Australia aims at implementing fire management activities of annual planned burns of savanna during the early dry season on 125,475ha of savanna in partnership with Maki Planet Systems, Uwoykand Corporation and traditional owners of the land.
